BOATYARD – An Clos mBad

The art of Irish boatbuilding embodies resilience, defiance and survival. The Boatyard: An Clos mBad is Tilbys shrine to the unknown fishermen and craftsmen who lived their lives by the sea. First exhibited at Bantry House, Bantry Bay, West Cork  July 2018,  Ballymaloe 2019,  the Belmont Demesne at Greystones, Dublin 2020 (sadly locked with the pandemic)

The installation included a 100-year-old sail, a soundscape – a collaboration with Steve Jones & Irish poet Pat Waters, and limited edition art prints, available to order please contact me  tilby@bigfrieze.com
