National Surf Championships are held each year in Newquay with a surf and music festival.

Brief from Vans&Reef  for Surfers Against Sewage 2010 was to produce a sculpture on the day, using trash from the beaches, sadly with a height restriction of 3 meters.  I proposed a giant, skull cave in cane clad with plastic milk bottles,  but Vans chose the guitar. The kids joined in and did a brilliant clear-up of beach rubbish.
